Here we have a 5" gauge Polly 2. A mechanically sound model with the usual professionally well made Polly boiler, if a little cosmetically scruffy. Fitted with an injector, an axle pump with footplate mounted bypass and of course the hand pump fitted within the tender. Lubrication in this instance is displacement with a huge reservoir on the right hand running board and a regulatable sight feed glass on the footplate.
Comes with a fresh hydraulic test as well as a fresh annual steam test so all's well and ready to run. More details to be added shortly, but for now have a good look at the photos and give us a bell if you'd like to know any more.
As with most of our models, what you see isn't necessarily what you get!
We often photograph models pretty much as they come in to us, and then when someone phones to say they are interested we pull the model into our workshops and make sure everything is tested, sorted and ready to go. So if you see the odd model photograph with a fitting missing or a return crank in the wrong place, that's just how it came in and certainly not how it will leave.
